River Kwai Day Tour
This full day historical trip goes to beautiful Kanchanaburi in Western Thailand where you will visit the Bridge on the River Kwai, The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, the War Cemetery and take a trip on the Death Railway.
The original bridge on the River Kwai or Kwae, like people in Thailand call it, is long gone, but it is still worth coming here to pay respect to the thousands who died here building the Death Railway and the bridge over the River Kwai.
The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre is an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thai-Burma Death Railway.

There is much more to be seen in Kanchanaburi and we also offer other tours in the area. Some other sights of interest are:
Hellfire Pass - a must if you are interested in history and the Death Railway. The pass became famous because of the extreme conditions the laborers were forced to work under during the construction. The name Hellfire Pass is derived from the light of the torches the workers used during the night which resemble the light from hell.
The Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum stands at the entrance to the pass and exhibits artifacts and the true story about the Thai-Burma Railway.
Kanchanaburi Safari Park and Open Zoo - a good alternative to Tiger Temple where, we are sorry to inform you, that we will not take you to see. We don't agree with the practices there.
Photo of the building of the bridge is taken at the museum
