Waterfalls are on their best and also a great time for bird watching. Fortunately, most visitors encounter deer and a beautiful array of butterflies dancing through the park in summer especially in June and July. Elephants sporadically show up around the reservoir of Sai Sorn that can be easily seen by visitors. &nbsp;Khao Yai is also a top bird-watching destination hosting well over 300 species. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mor Tan Jarn, the most accessible wildlife observation tower,  is situated near the Sai Sorn Reservoir and the Nong Pak Chi observation tower in the north of the visitor centre. Both are the best place to spot elephants and wild animals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Have a dip Haew Suwat Waterfall<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Haew Suwat is probably the &nbsp;most popular of Khao Yai\u2019s main waterfalls because Leonardo Dicaprio\u2019s film \u201c<em>The Beach\u201d <\/em>&nbsp;where his character jump over a cliff of this waterfall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/P_LyZKDAnp-6rtpx0D-OUiupcnRtAAuFZb4Kmq0uoMG71Z82vNiriZu6eLyfk4q5thXZY7t05GeP4RoIizDGRz7zFO5LA1P880WrgXyf9kqWmZ2YzYCOuDKHBSVtmxdttLUR6dai\" alt=\"Photo of Haew Suwat Waterfall\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With its picturesque, breathtaking streams of water, it\u2019s so easy &nbsp;to just sit and soak in the scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swimming and cliff jumping are prohibited here at all times, since there have injuries reported in the past. With &nbsp;an elevation of around 1,150 metres, indeed this is a wonderful place to soak up the serenity of the forest. perfect place to you can gaze over Khao Yai\u2019s wild interior forest.  Most visitors stop here on the way to the visitor centre to soak up the view and take some photograph.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most important thing to keep in mind is that there is no public transport operating inside Khao Yai National Park.
