In the province of Lopburi lies the biggest sunflower field in Thailand. Only a 2 hour drive from Bangkok, so if you are looking for a close but authentic sunflower field to visit, a day trip here is perfect.

The most unique flower field<\/em> on this list as it takes place in the water. Quite far from Bangkok but if you are willing to make the trip you will get to experience a very rare experience, which is hard to find anywhere else.

Home to millions of pink lotus flowers, you will get on a 45 minute boat tour through the lake and see the beautiful water blooms up close. Near the center of the lake, you will find yourself in a sea of endless lotus flowers and makes for a memory you will never forget.

If you decide to fly to Udon Thani, it is only a 45 minute flight followed by an hour car ride there. Accommodations are also available there and even though it is not the most popular tourist area, it has one of Thailand\u2019s largest expat populations. So it is a nice place to visit if you do not speak much Thai.
