Calypso Cabaret Show is one of Bangkok’s longest-running cabaret shows. The performance combines colourful costumes, music, comedy, lip-sync performances, impersonations and group dance numbers.

The cast is made up of professional transgender artists who bring their own style, personality and stage presence to the show. Because the performance is mainly visual and musical, it is easy to enjoy without understanding much English or Thai.

The show takes place at Asiatique The Riverfront beside the Chao Phraya River. Arrive early if you would like to explore the shops, restaurants and riverside area before the performance.

Every night over 50 performers will take to the stage, transforming into some of the most fabulous entertainers in history including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. No visit to Bangkok is complete without a trip to the cabaret, and the Calypso won’t disappoint!

Shows take place daily at Asiatique The Riverfront, Bangkok’s spectacular riverside entertainment and dining venue. The new Calypso Cabaret restaurant offers traditional Thai dinners accompanied with a traditional Khon dance show before the performance. Alternatively, guests may choose to take advantage of the many dining options at Asiatique before or after the show.
