Located on the island side of Pa Sak river in the town of Ayutthaya, this restaurant is serving visitors since 1966. With its great location, anyone can easily find it since it’s just near Wat Suwan Dararam Ratchaworawihan.  Phae Krung Khao Restaurant is not just any other restaurant by the river, it has an interesting setting. Aside from its stunning interior decoration, it’s an amazing labyrinth of antiques with passages, hidden corner, courtyard, terraces, and stairs which have direct access in the river.

Somtum Sukunya

If you find yourself walking around Wat Mahathat, there is a restaurant nearby that will satisfy your traditional Thai dishes cravings — Somtum Sukunya.
