Thailand Tourism COVID-19 Update

Thailand Tourism COVID-19 Update

We were hoping to come with good news this month but unfortunately international tourism is still banned indefinitely here in Thailand. Earlier the government was talking about opening up for limited tourism in August or September, but the latest signals are that it will be longer.

Domestically, practically everything is opened up now but there are restrictions in place. Here are some of the most important for travelers going forward:

– Drivers, guides and tourists must wear a mask every time while performing their duties or while traveling

– Provide hand sanitizer in vehicles. All passengers must use before entering the vehicle each time

– The vehicles will be cleaned and disinfected everyday and between each trip

When at attractions and outside follow social distancing rules and at most places you will need to get your temperature checked, and some places you will be asked to check in and out by scanning a qr code on an official website. Also a mask needs to be worn at all times when outside.

Booking and cancellation terms

To make it easy and basically risk free for clients we have decided to offer full refunds up to 24 hours in advance on any booking made outside the peak seasons (December, around Chinese New Year and around Songkran or Thai New Year). In the peak seasons we offer full refunds for bookings cancelled more than 7 days in advance.

We are still running our gift card promotion. So if you or anyone you know are planning to come to Bangkok any time after they reopen we offer good deals now.
